About our donation centres

Salvation Army donation centres are all about community and affordability. Each donation centre has a similar look and feel, all offer a large shopping area with furniture, homeware, fashion and electricals, as well as 24-7 clothing banks at each site. We reuse and repurpose locally, including larger items and white goods that smaller high street stores are not able to accommodate. But it’s the focus on the community that makes each donation centre special to the people it serves.

How our donation centres work

  • Your donations help raise funds for The Salvation Army’s work with vulnerable people in communities across the UK.
  • Our donation centres also work with local churches and community groups, offering free provisions for those with immediate needs.
  • Our Community Hubs offer a place to sit and rest as well as food provisions.
  • We reuse and recycle unwanted items locally, and provide affordable furniture, clothing, and other items to local people.
  • We offer free furniture collections which can be booked with the store team.
  • Our donation centres offer many volunteering opportunities, with free training, the opportunity meet new friends and much more!
